I want to tell you about the planned building of a Jewish synagogue in our neighbourtown Bochum. Four millions EUR (= US $) of the costs shall be paid by the city of Bochum and the land of Northrhine - Westphalia. The medias reported in a very emotional way.
The NPD (= nationaldemokratische Partei Deutschlands, national democratic party of Germany, a rightest party) had announced an idignation demostration against the planned building, and Bochum´s Chief Constable enjoined this demonstration, after some judges and prosecuting attorneys had excerted political pressure. Functionaries of the justice have to be reserved by answering of questions of such a kind, because they have to be neutral at all.
I want to tell you something about the NPD. This party is not thrustworthy, because it does not critizises the stately financing of the big Christian churches. It is obvious that the NPD has got principal reason to protest against the synagogue.
But this incidents start question of principal structure regarding to the constitutional system of the Ferderal Republic of Germany.
The NPD confirms its protest by the stately financing of the synagogue - building - nobody can prove the opposite.
FIRST QUESTION: IS IT NOT ALLOWED TO PROTEST AGAINST THE STATELY CHURCH FINANCING IN OUR COUNTRY?
The financing of practising of religious acts is principal not a stately task. The state has to be neutral. The Christian churchen are organzations with a big moralic wrong behaviour. That ´s a well known fact. But this critique regards the Jewish church too. The circumscision of male kids is a fact of premiditated bodoly injury, for example. But no attorney and judge prosecute this kind of criminality. We are forced to tolerate this behaviour!
SECOND QUESTION: IS IT PRINCIPAL NOT ALLOWED TO PROTEST AGAINST A PLANNED CHURCH - BUILDING?
You may protest against planned highways, skyscrapers, manufactoring plants, love - nests, shopping - centers etc.. You may protest against everything... But a church impairs irs surroundings more extensive too. Indeed a Jewish synagogue does not "enjoy" theirneighbours byoften loud church bell ringing, but some people could not like lo live next to an institution always violating human rights.
My personal opinion: I tolerate the building of churches of all kind, if the costs are only paid by the religious organization. But I think it is nobody should be forbidden to protest.
THIRD QUESTION: IS CRITICS AGAINST JEWISH PEOPLE ANTISEMITISM?
Antisemitism has to be damned, but it ist not all right to taboo of all critics against Jewish people and Israel. This would be neiterh useful for Jews nor Israel. Everybody of us uses critics of other people, because everybody of us is a man and makes mistakes. Everybody should be glad about constructive criticism.
FOURTH QUESTION: WHAT´S ABOUT THE THRUSTWORTHNESS OF THE SUPPORTERS OF THE STATELY FINANCING OF THE SYNAGOGUE BUILDING?
The poor thrustworthness is not only a problem of the NPD, thatßs sure.
So the supporters of the financing of the synagogue - building try to legitimate their opinion that Jewish people had to suffer during the Nazi periode. But Jews have already got compensations, and the payments have to be stopped one day. Further than it is not possible to repair Jews by a synagogue building, because an urgent part of Jews are not religious at all.
Besidem them the principe of the same right for everybody has to be practised. The Nazis were not the only people who were guilty at the genocide during the Third Reich, but the both big Christinan churches had made the princips of antisemitism propagated for centuries. The Christian churches are the ideological inventors of Auschwitz (Oswiecim). The Nazis and their fellow were only the handy men of the Christian churches. Both are guilty in the same way!
During Nazis are being prosecuted by the modern German states, the Churches will be further paid an preserved and their infrigations of right will be tolerated by the state.
"Auschwitz" (Oswiecim) will be solved in a thrustworthy way, if state and society treat churches and (neo-) Nazis in the same way. Justice for everybody!
FACT: THE DISCUSSION ABOUT THE SYNAGOGUE BUILDING CAN BE USEFULL FOR EVERYONE OF US!
